Hi, it’s me. This is she
A bit about Kelly…
Between catching shows and putting them on, Kelly Ng can be found running around New York’s Theatre District. Raised in a diverse neighborhood to immigrant parents in Queens, New York, Kelly attended public school with her eyes set on the creative arts. It was at 11, marathoning ABC Family’s Harry Potter weekend, quoting every line, that she discovered her love of acting.
Kelly attended Pace University and received a degree in BBA in Arts and Entertainment Management, in addition to training at Pace University’s BA in Pace Performing Arts’ Acting for the International Performance Ensemble.
In between auditioning for artistic projects, Kelly has also become immersed in the world of theater administration. She has interned for organizations such as: the American Theatre Wing, AKA NYC, the Ambassador Theatre Group North America, Caparelliotis Casting and more. Nowadays, you can find her spreading the magic ushering for the Lyric Theatre’s Broadway production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”
She is a proud advocate for proper Asian and Asian-American representation in the entertainment industry and knows there’s many-a-ways to go. This past year, Kelly starred as the lead in, Disappear, an indie short film with a predominantly Asian/Asian-American cast and crew, which was officially selected for the 42nd Asian American International Film Festival. Her other short film, A Place I’ve Been Before, was an official selection for the 2019 Aphrodite Awards and 2019 Short Fest. She has also appeared as a model for bareMinerals, and Off-Broadway at Theater Row.
Every experience and role has reinforced Kelly’s love for acting and making people smile!
